But its nearly incredible that more then 120 riders from 16 nations announced their comming to this years Cable Wakeboard European Championships in Almere / the Netherlands. From 17. - 19. August you can see the best Wakeboarder from Europe and spectacular action at the Cable Lido in Almere near Amsterdam.
Today Wakeboarding is the most growing Watersport. With a great speed this sport is coming all over the world. Today more then 150 Cableways are in use for this sport.
The host themselves do have the biggest chance to win the titles at this years EC. Mike Ketelapper (19) and Maxime Sapulette (16) from the Netherlands were leading their categories at the last events and are now the object of the other riders attacks!
The team of Great Britain also has great ambition to go for noble metal. Nick Davis is one of the favorite riders from the Open Men categorie. At the Ladies and Girls categorie the German team will be in a very powerful position. With Ginger Pfennings and Pauline Dyrschka the Germans have two of the top riders!
The team of South Africa will be at the Europeans with one rider for the first time. In the structure of the International Waterski Federation (IWSF) South Africa also belongs to the European countries. The US Boy Marc Shuster uses his second citizenship as South African and will enrich the European Championships. He just showed his skills impressive at one of the Tourstops of the European Cable Wakeboard Tour.
