Cablestock 2007 Results from Day 2

With 2of the three days of Cablstock 2007 in the books, the competitions begin to tighten up. With over 7000 spectators in the first two days, this event could be the biggest ever.

The WWA Wakepark Series presented by 1080 has turned out to be more than expected with TSR riders utilizing their home site advantage to secure 3 of the 4 spots into the next round. All the other riders will have to fight it out in the LCQ rounds to advance. Tom Fooshee and Josh Rice both won their heats while Kyle Reed and Jimmy Lariche managed to secure spots by finishing 2nd in each heat.

On the boat side there was not quite as much excitement as 3 top wakeskaters and 8 top wakeboarders were protected until the final day of the tournament. Ross Gardner was the top qualifier for the wakeskate division and Lucas Snider finished first to qualify with just three other riders for the final day of pro boat. There the competition gets more difficult as both the 2006 WWA Wakeboard and Wakeskate World Champions will be waiting.

TSR would like to thank the sponsors that help us put on Cablestock 2007: MasterCraft, Nike 6.0, Liquid Force, Helium, Reef, Wakeboarding Mag, WetSounds, Anarchy, Nixon, Swami Studios, WakeWorld.com, Wakeboarder.com & cablewakeboard.com.
