Since the 1998 the Championships has been held in France, Sweden, Greece,
Italy, Belgium and South Africa. The titled event has always excelled with high
numbers of riders and this event will be no different.

Furthermore having wakeskate as part of the Championships will make this
year’s event, one of the Worlds biggest gathering of riders and wakeskaters in
2008 and a great boost for wakeskating following the previous Wakeskate
Championships in 2004 and 2006.
