The European Cable Wakeboard Championships 2007 in Almere / the Netherlands
are now getting closer and closer!
We are really looking forward to welcome you at the beautiful cable of LIDO!
The third Bulletin shows you what you can expect at LIDO! We hope we will have a

How to get to Almere By car:
From Amsterdam A1 / Utrecht A1
Riding on the A6 from direction Amsterdam you take exit ‘Almere Haven’ (S102). At
the end of the exit you go left at the traffic lights and follow the road. Go straight at
the first traffic light you see and go right at the second traffic light. You can see Lido
Almere from here.
From Lelystad
Coming from Lelystad riding on the A6 take exit ‘Almere Haven / Almere Stad
Stedenwijk’ (S102). At the end the exit go left at the traffic lights. Go right at the
next traffic light you see and you can see Lido Almere from here.

The Location
Important Information for Riders
We are looking forward to a great competition and to spectacular action on the
water. To ensure a smoothly competition we would like you to pay attention to the
following points:
a) You will find a special Riders area which will be secured by a security guard and
where only Riders are allowed to enter.
Please make sure that you bring your equipment to this area during the
day!
This helps you to have your equipment safe and to keep the lanes and walks
free for your friends and spectators!
b) Every rider will get a wristband and a Riders pass. Please make sure, that you
wear your pass and wristband if you want to have your meals or if you want to
enter the parking or do anything else!
c) Our main sponsor Protest offers you a special riders area, where you can chill,
relax, warm up or what ever you like!
Your equipment is also safe in this area! We have a security guard that
is watching for your equipment! So please make sure to bring your bags
and boards there!
Specials for the riders
· Free Drinks
· Free Meals (Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
· Special Riders area / secured equipment tent
· Free entrance to the parties on Friday and Saturday
Conditions
The EAME Cable Wakeboard European Championships 2007 will be carried out
according to the IWSF European Cable-Wakeboard-Council rules 2007. A full copy of
the rules will be available at:

Categories
A rider's age as of 1st January 2007 of the current year will be used to determine the age bracket.
Boys
If a rider was born in the following years, then they qualify for this category:
1992 and after
Girls
If a rider was born in the following years, then they qualify for this category:
1992 and after
Junior Men
If a rider was born in the following years, then they qualify for this category:
1991-1990 - 1989 - 1988
Junior Ladies
If a rider was born in the following years, then they qualify for this category:
1991-1990 - 1989 - 1988
Open Men
No age restriction
Open Ladies
No age restriction
Masters - Men
If a rider was born in 1976 or before.
Masters - Ladies
If a rider was born in 1976 or before.
License
All riders should be members of their respective country’s IWSF affiliated
Federation. In addition, entrants from EAME should have the EAME International
Wakeboard License.
Training
Official training: Friday, August the 17th
Official training in teams/groups, no payment
Extra Training
a) Teams can contact the Cable (You’ll find the contact at the end of the
Bulletin) to book extra training times.
b) The Cable can be booked from Monday to Thursday from:
09 – 12am and 9 – 11pm
c) The price for booking the Cable for 1h is 150 €
d) From 12am – 9pm the Cable is opened for the public and its not possible to
book it. Of course you can buy a ticket for the public time.
Competitions Riders get a discount of 10% on these tickets.
Tickets for Riders:
Day Ticket: 37,50
12*2 Hours (175,- -10% till 16 years; 220,- -10% from 17 years)
12*1 Hour (125,- -10% till 16 years; 155,- -10% from 17 years)
To ride Obstacles in Public Hour:
Because of insurance reasons you have to buy a1 Year Club Licence: 10,-
(otherwise you are not allowed to ride Obstacles in public Hours)
Liability
The organizer does not undertake any liability for damage to person, material or
property against competitors, Judges, official helpers and other persons. All
competitors take part on their own risk in every respect even if they are engaged
out of the competition, e.g. in any additional program. With the entry of the
competition they give up any claim from cases of loss of kind arising indirectly
during event. Actives ought to have effected a private accident insurance besides
their health insurance. Damage to a third party (e.g. spectators) is insured only
within the limits of the organizers liability.

Accommodation
Please note that every federation has to look by themselves for
accomodation.
Camping Waterhout
Camping Waterhout is very close to Lido Almere and located on the same lake as
the cable. Only a 1 minute walk could take you there. The campsite made a special
deal for the EC. One night will cost € 8,50 a person. Because Camping Waterhout is
a family orientated campsite they have some rules that you, as a guest, have to
follow. You should respect this rules before you reserve a place on the campsite
Waterhout.

Bastion Hotel is near the Cable, it’s a 5 minutes drive by car and there are also
busses riding from the hotel to the nearest bus station from the cable, which will be
combine a 5 till 10 minute walk.
The Hotel offers 2 kind of rooms, a normal one and a deluxe room.

Club Hotel Anno
Anno is located in the centre of Almere and has 15 rooms for 2 persons. It’s a 10
minute drive to the cable. Also bus 1 and 3 will go from the centre to the cable and
will take 5 till 10 minutes, which you must combine with a 5 minute walk. Anno is a
Club that means they have loud music on Friday and Saturday, which will go on till
4 in the morning and will influence your sleeping.
Parking your car in the centre will cost money (€ 0,50 a 22 minutes / daily € 5,70).

Normal room: € 80,- € 90,-
Deluxe room (bath inclusive): € 100,-
Rates are inclusive breakfast. If you stay from Monday or Tuesday they will give you a € 10,- discount.
